Hey, I'm new here, too. I wasn't sure how I'd go about challenging someone, but now it seems like you've helped me there.

So I'll challenge you. What do you wanna do? Hopefully something in black and white, as I don't really have time for colors right now...

    Lemme know!

Okay, you know topic. Don't worry about color, you see, in this challenge we will use non-digital media so i think, i draw in B&W... What About Time limit? I think about 22 December (of course, if we do it faster, challenge end faster...) What do you think about it?

I replied to your private message. I think 23 December is fine, as it gives me time to finish up the stuff I promised the new Talislanta publishers.

my only comment at this point waffle is maybe drop the letter box and the words too =P. just me maybe but i like it more when the decision of which object is "fate" is left up to the viewer(not saying the artist can't put an intended subject, just sayin it'd be cooler if it were more subtle)

Ugh. I totally forgot about it. So many weird things have been happening at my house the last week or two...

Thanks for the deadline extension, though. I'll get off my butt (and get the weird people out of my house) and see what I can come up with.

    Finally found some time...!

    Okay!

Fortunately, I only had to work a half-day today, and so I was able to finish this piece up. Between the uninvited Christmas guests and a new commission that just dropped into my lap, I really didn't get time to do this up until now.

Blah blah blah. Anyway, here she is:

Sorry it took so long. And thanks for the challenge!

I'd have to give it to 'ninja. He had a more complete and well thought out composition.

Saise's was just a little too stiff (but a neat idea) and Adam's was a cool concept, but I don't think it was brought off as well as it could have been (maybe a bit of relfected light off the face like the arm has on the dark side).

You know, I considered that, but decided not to in the end. I was going for more of a "Hel" look...but as soon as I did it this way, I was wishing I'd've put a little backlighting on the face. Sigh. Oh well.
