    Beauty & Beast

    Hey everyone,

First time posting a WIP piece. Since I'm typically into drawing anime, this is kinda a first.
It's kinda like frankenstein's monster type of thing. Haven't gotten the "beauty" in there yet though. I started it several months ago, and stopped, and have just started working on it again. Any suggestions on what I can do to improve on it before I start going nuts on details would be appreciated, thanks!

Anime is just another form of expression.

i like the gauntlets he has on his hands they are very well shaded and nicely detailed , but i think you should make the background a cooler color...something more on the lines of a blue or purple or maybe even a bluish gray...also try adding some objects in the backgoround that would make your drawing look more complete. That is all I can think of

    Still working on it!

Thanks for the critiques. Color is probably the last thing I'm gonna do. Right now I'm more concerned with the shading, and the proportions of things.

I've made some changes - fixed the non-existant shoulder, added some more details in the leg area...

Looking good. Hope to see you finalizing it soon.

What is the brownish blob next to the right leg? If it is the blocking for its left leg, then it appears too long.

    Thanks!

Yeah, that's his left leg. He's sort of climbing up a hill. Anything I can do to reposition it?

Actually, I'm having some trouble with the pelvic area right now. I don't know how to show it. I guess I just have to mess around with it, like I did with the shoulder to give it some definition...
