    i built this city on rock and....

    Hey everyone, this is my first real post on this forum( it took a while to figure out). My name is Eric Branston and i am a junior in high school. I just wanted to hear what u guys thought of this city i drew. I havnt thought of a permanent name for this city yet, but here it is anyways. Comments and criticism are appreciated, ill take any suggestions. Tell me what u think:

    Smile Oi Oi!

    As far as C&C go, I would say that the composition is nice, and I like the repeated shapes. If I were you, I would deffinatly go back and establish some dark values, it all seems too light; also, many of the buildings feel like they're leaning to the left. It's nice to see that you took the time to draw in every last building, attention to detail.. 1 more thing, the clouds don't seem too convincing, consider darkening the sky a bit, or shading into the clouds some more, their usualy not outlined with darks like that (go outside and look at the sky)

    About the stuff leaning to the left, yeah.....(oops) thanks for the suggestions, ill check out some of ur stuff.

    Pretty good crit from Chroma. Would like to add that the bigger buildings add focal points (1st and 2nd reads) that keep it from looking too busy. You could fix the leaning thing possibly by rotating it in Photoshop a little? Good job.
