for 2005 the Funny Club Show

    Hi Folks,
I will send a work to 2005 Funny Club Show for display.
This show is show which arranges(custom) and announces "Funny Club Figure" of the toy made from the vinyl of B.B.Birdy.
I joined to this project, and "Funny Club Figure" arrived.

This is original "Funny Club Figure".

I do the work which remakes this vinyl sculpture in my original design.

The work which I began first is a sketch.
The line drawn with the brown pencil is an original design. And a blue line is my design.
I decided to remake this sculpture to "the girl whom a sport likes."

Therefore, it is necessary to change the size of each part.
This sculpture of parts other than the head and an ear is made of vinyl.
Since processing with vinyl was difficult, I decided to process it, after reproducing by resin.
The head part was divided four parts and changed into a form like a Rugby ball.
Since it would advance adjusting several times, the spare also made each part.

The part of a body is shortened and a joint ball is strengthened.

    This is original.

The prepared parts are 4mm bead, 0.2mm wire, and 3mm plastic stick.

A bead is pasted on wire.

The done part is pasted up on a plastic stick.

It will become such if a joint part is attached in a body part.

The arm and the leg were extended.
Can the image of completion be imagined now in this stage?

The arm and the leg attached thickness by Polyputty.
Since the surface is not cutted yet, it is visible slightly like horror.

I discovered that original joint part was not made correctly.
I reproduced original correctly. However, the part was already inaccurate. I decided to remake a joint part.
and I decided to use "M.S.G" of "Kotobukiya."

The joint part of an arm and a leg was cut and MSG was attached.

In order to check the position of a face, the face was drawn with the pencil.
A joint part appears with these photographs.
Then, these joint parts are covered by PolyPutty.

    The surface was cleaned.
    And her hair was made.

I attached Primer. these are all parts of PaintMonster's Funny Club Figure!

The work which applies Primer was ended.
    Details were fixed by Poly-Putty.

I decided to include a steel plate in a stage.

The magnet was built into the sole of Yuki.

The form was again prepared by Poly-Putty.

Hey PM! I haven't seen you around in a while. I always enjoy seeing what you come out with. These figures are very fun, and I would love to get that kind of clean smoothness in some of my sculpts. Thanks for sharing, and take care! ( I may yet meet you one day at Sapporo Station...hehehe. )

    Thank you for comment!!
I am the most pleasant when I am making. Moreover, after sculpture is completed, it is also pleasant to take a photograph.

Marty...unfortunately I live in Canada about an hour North of Toronto....nowhere near L.A. Trust me though...if I lived anywhere near there..I'd be honoured to meet you, and talk about your sculpts, and see them first hand.
