    Adrian's Sketchbook

    Hello everyone

Today I want to start my sketchbook, with the goal to draw and upload every single day.

My goal is to draw character concept art and at the moment I'm going through the Force Basics course.
I already drew for 3 months constantly at the end of 2018, but I gave up in december. Today I want to start again, but with more focus.
When I first tried, I tried out a lot of different things and never felt that I improve, even slightly. I did 3 lessons and the 250 box challenge from draw a box and I think this helped me a lot.
If anyone is interested, here's the link to my Google Drive with the files.

Anyway, I really want to improve in this field and will try to work for it on a daily basis.
In the attachment you can see my today work of the force drawing course.

I would be grateful for every critic, as I do have long way to go.

    Greetings
    Adrian

Hello everybody, here's my todays work with force. Really trying to learn from each step but I have a lot of trouble figuring out the torso and hip and how to show them.

Todays work. This was a really hard pose, still trying to figure out what the right attempt would be.

Todays work. Not a lot of focus today, got distracted a lot. I actually know some stuff that is still wrong, but I let this be for now. Maybe I'll get back to this pose another day.

Not one week with posting every day. Skipped friday as I really wasn't in the mood.

Here's my studies from yesterday and today.

Couldn't upload one image, here's the Google Drive Link for that: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1UY...tgVi4k_tiVkudu

It's great that you're concentrating on gesture, but at times it looks like the body is too short in the early ones. Also, where you can, make a line for angle of the shoulders and draw the gesture over that.

Hey Black Spot, thank you so much for dropping by and giving critique. Really appreciate that.
Yep, I think proportions are a big weakness of mine. And I'll try to have a better look at the angles, especially the one for the shoulders.

Not a lot of time today, and tried to "study" some clothing. Here's my attempt:

Good progress man, the studies in post #6 show a lot of improvement! Like Blackspot mentioned, keep an eye on proportions.

Hey, thank you for dropping by and the thumbs up. This is really giving a motivation boost.
Yep I know, I really need to keep an eye on proportions. I really try to stay focused on them, but sometimes my mind just drifts. I hope this gets better the more I draw.

Here's todays study. I tried the same pose as two days ago, following some critique I got on the force drawing forum. Having such a hard time thinking about the forces and proportions at the same time.

Small update for today. Didn't really feel it and was kind of rushing through the drawing part.
