    Color Theory Resources

Hi guys. In the past I tried to learn Color Theory but the resources I went to were quite confusing and complicated and I ended up quite demotivated to learn. (I don't know what links I went to are anymore.)

However, now I'm back and I wanted to know if any one of you had some knowledge of good resources that teach Color Theory.
I'm really interested in learning this since it's one of the things I most appreciated in Artwork I see.

    Thanks.

I recommend you book by Johannes Itten 'The Art of Color: The Subjective Experience and Objective Rationale of Color '
It is old but very good

It is a little academic, and the gist of Itten's colour contrasts can be found in other sources. There is a reason this book has been out of print for half a century; it's great if you can find it, but don't waste a ridiculous amount of money on this.

An extensive source on colour is https://www.handprint.com/HP/WCL/wcolor.html.

Also check out James Gurney's Color and Light and Imaginative Realism. You need to have those in your collection anyway if you don't already.
