Hello I've been working on this digital painting for three weeks due to busy schedule. I realise something feels off with my goblin design and I'm hoping for advice to improve it. Also any advice for my three eyed wolf design would be much appreciated

Hi, is this part of a comic? We need a 3/4 view to see that the dog has 3 eyes. Using a 3/4 on the scen will open up a world of better composition ideas, too. Goblin’s shoulders will look better in 3/4. Iew.

Cool stuff. Seeing that this is all from a side point of view, I'd push you to explore the character silhouettes more and add more interest to the shape language/design. For example his scarf and how it's sitting on his shoulders (loose or tight around his neck). Or how you can break that constant line going from the back of his hat down his back. Same w/ the wolf- I think the silhouette can help better tell us that it's got three eyes too!

hello sorry for the delay, i read your response I'm keeping your feedback about the change of composition. initially my goblin and his mystic canine companion is meant to stare at the stars. so a 3/4 screen will definitely work. To be honest I wish this was part of a comic book since these are recurring characters for my artwork.

I would suggest making the wolf's front leg narrower at the top, look at some wolf photos to see how sharp that elbow is.

Get some skeleton+ skull references there as well, muscles will help too, you can never have too much of it
