Hello, I'm new here and I want to improve my Linework. I know I shouldn't compare myself to others but no matter what I still want to know what I'm doing wrong. I feel like my lineart (the girl with the wings) have big bold lines compare the other one. I don't know.

A few things up front.. the head looks way off from the neck, and the face just a smushed round ball.

Given the feet placement it doesn't really line up from feet to knee to hip.. things are too far torqued.

Also the wings look awfully.. sparse?

As for your lines - think about line weight.. plenty of youtube tutorials on it.

the head too far away from the neck, looks disconnected, secondly the wings doesnt looks like natural wing with correct wing anatomy, unless u are aiming for stylized wing.

As far as line work goes, line weight is the biggest thing for me right now. Some lighter lines in her face can help make it look not so heavy and more feminine i thinks. Also a feather goes in front of her right elbow along with a few other line overlaps in the wings. Cool work!

Study proportions and build from basic shapes https://drawabox.com/ as well use reference, look/study bird wing structure whats underneath of feathers (bones and muscles) as well main feather groups + don't forget to study human anatomy as well. Study from life simple still lifes if you can get in life drawing classes as well
