Look at actual reference of SMGs before you paint them. It looks like he's holding a black cardboard cutout of a gun.

I don't know if this is supposed to be a disgruntled Santa, or a mall-Santa with a gun. I like the concept, but I'm immediately disappointed that there aren't more festive weapons on him. Candy cane knives, coal grenades, etc. Ham it up, push them theme to its limits.

Nice job on the wrinkles. The lighting is kind of odd, its sort of from behind, or sort of from the left; its hard to tell. The boots have a cool design, but they look too flat to convey realism. Try and make each shape look three dimensional. This is why a simple lighting scheme sometimes works best, then its easier to make sure everything matches.

On the hand holding the machine gun, the material seems strangely thin, and the knuckles of his hand are perfectly even, even tho hands can look like that in real life, it almost always looks wrong in a painting/ drawing. Try to convey some variation in the shape or the shadow. Textures on the cuffs look really good, see if you can create some of that texture elsewhere too.

    Nice job, keep it up.
