Hi. I am interested in learning how to do art. Here are some images I did this year. Some goals for the present are

    1. Figure out this sketchbook. Work on taking better pictures and formatting them appropriately. I would appreciate any advice. I tried to follow the below 1500px and 500kb but I think it's still too big.

    2. Try to draw more than I have. Ideally, I would like to create the habit of drawing almost daily but I will work up to it. If I draw 1-3/7 days (not good), 4/7 days (getting there), 5/7 days (goal reached), 6-7/7 days (amazing).

    3. Limit going over lines multiple times. Be a bit more intentional with my mark making.

    1. I think these pictures might be formatted a little better.
    2. I drew about 4/7 days so it's getting there
    3. I didn't really improve simplifying the lines. It's still pretty messy

I tried using charcoal. I like how dark it is but I spent more time in cleaning up areas that I smudged than actually drawing with it.

I attended a drink n draw session near me. It was my second time and I was incredibly nervous. There weren't a lot of people but it seems like they were all professional artists based on the conversations I overheard. I used a 8.5x11 inch sketchbook that seemed a little too small for me. I will try to use a bigger one next time. I think I did improve my mark making in some areas so it went better than I expected. I had a lot of trouble knowing where to start and stop certain parts of the body.
