Hi everyone, I was pretty pumped to get the username Aaron on this classic forum, so I figured I'd get serious!

I've been drawing intensely for about 14 years, but a lot of it was indulgent on childish art... So now I'm working on returning to some more refined skills.

The two biggest areas of work I've noticed in my work is my inability to make good contrast choices, and my inability to make a flowing composition. My works can feel very stiff. My pencil and painted works sometimes get that novice feeling of poor contrast decisions.

A few things I think I've definitely improved upon through watching tutorials in the last year (Marco bucci!) Have been : conscious choices with edge control, "cutting out" white spots early on and not just running my tool all over the page like a madman, and experimenting with new topics!!

Probably my biggest goal with learning anatomy is to illustrate comics and design characters for many purposes..

I appreciate all forms of critical feedback!
