How to fix 3D scan in Blender?

    Hello everyone,
I've made a 3D scan of a chair, export it from Artec Studio --> Blender
    Name: chair09.png

Size: 346.6 KB
How to fix it using Blender? The scan looks awful, captured the floor I have to delete, there are a lots of dents... Is there any addon for Blender to edit that? Or I have to use another 3D software?

    Thanks in advance.

Looks like it is easier to model this yourself in Blender.

Artec studio has some great tools for this kind of thing - there's a 40 minute introduction video out there that you should track down and watch.

That said, Blender is super capable too though - if it's a watertight model, do some booleans, if not some well placed box selections, select by non-manifold and the F (for fill) key will put you on the right path. The decimate modifier is a must - you can reduce the density to 0.1 and i doubt you'll be able to tell.

To be honest though - your best bet is to probably just retoplogise it. Having a scan is a perfect starting point.
