    Hi JoeCowan,

I appreciate your effort to point this out.

I do think he was on-topic, being that the topic was "Rogue Professor" and his drawing alluded to a professor that was going off of his curriculum in a radical way, writing on the chalkboard using more extreme ideologies and nihilistic commentary. The professor also wrote "Legend" with a line drawn straight through the "T" -- clearly a rogue typographic device! Plus look at that guy's eyes and face -- he clearly is off his rocker and has gone rogue. I understand why you might think otherwise but it's also a good idea to give the artist the benefit of the doubt too...

This is a daily sketch group and most people have day jobs, other art projects, and just other things to do in general. Critiquing the art is encouraged in most other activities, but in the DSG, it's more of a casual watering hole, if you will, and unfinished or incomplete sketches are perfectly fine. If an artist doesn't directly hit the topic on the head or follow the theme to a tee, it's not a big deal. I don't think that was necessary but no harm done. I figure if someone sketches at least once per day, it's a positive thing! Thanks for joining and hope to see your sketches.

I dare guess JoeCowan was making a joke, if I was any braver I'd throw Jordan Peterson in the discussion and bring the whole argument to political flame war levels

    (btw, jk)
