Scenary - Ancient alien city ruins

Hello everybody. This is my first post here, and I'd like to present myself:
My name is Mau Vasconcellos, and I'm a traditional artist and writer, who has been working on several sci-fi/fantasy books for over a decade now, and only now getting ready to publish the first issue.

    And about the artwork:
This is one of the illustrations for my novels. It illustrates the city where the protagonists are: an ancient, abandoned alien city, on the coast of some unkown jungle planet. For my scenaries, I tend to model the entire maquettes through the software 3Ds Studio Max, then draw what I see afterwards.

If you like this kind of theme, and feel like checking more of my works and the book materials, then please, feel free to check my pages out. Thank you!

I love the scene and the detail. I'm a big fan of black and white and I really like the almost water color look to your shading. I'd be very interested to see a longer look into your process with either a video or more thorough walk-through with pictures.

I like it, but it would be more believable if the decay would not just be at a small level, with cracks and such, but also at a higher level, partly destroying bigger structures. It is great that you show us some of your process!
