What to practice in order to learn to rotate a box at any direction?

I use blender and rotate the box but I still don't understand some stuff. What exactly should I practice to become very good at rotating boxes? I have some basic perspective knowldege btw and I know to rotate the box horizontally and vertically but trying sth more than that gets very confusing.

    Books:

But if you know how to rotate vertically and horizontally, any rotation is a combination of these two plus rotation about center of vision: https://www.geogebra.org/m/twtntzyj (pink, purple, black sliders control vertical and horizontal rotations and rotation about center of vision, respectively).
