    Alko Learns to Draw!

Hey all. Been a long time lurker and have decided to start my own sketchbook. I've taken a few art classes here and there, but haven't been consistent enough. Hope this sketchbook will help keep me accountable.

    Started with some Loomis today.

Welcome to CA! Nice start, it's great to see you working hard. I don't have any advice or critique to give (that's not my thing haha).
Just wanted to welcome you here and hope to see new a update from your sketchbook!

Yeh I definitely noticed that my proportions were way off after comparing to the originals. I took your advice and slowed down and really thought more about the proportional relationships.

    Thanks! Glad to be here.

Worked on redoing the Loomis proportions again today. Think I improved upon my first go at it, though my line quality needs much more improvement.
