    Istebrak 14 Day Challenge - 3/4 view Male

    Going to be posting my 14 day challenge here for extra help, since my post aren't getting much attention. The challenge is when you draw a portrait in the same view and sex for 14 days with no reference. The light is suppose to be coming from somewhere above the head and it's suppose to be in grey scale. As always, any opinions are welcome :>.

    Day 1 of 14
    I had a lot of trouble with the lips on this portrait. AJams said that the brows are too high and are suppose to be on the brow bone.

    Study the real thing. In my opinion, you're wasting your time rendering the head without understanding its structure.

    Agreed, also study asaro heads, skulls, as well construction (Proko's youtube channel , Loomis heads and hands book) also life studies are useful, like self portraits using one light

    @eezacque @stonec
    Thanks for replying and giving me advice. I'll start looking at asaro heads soon, but wanted to do the challenge because it helped me a lot in the past.
