    The main issue here is that the pose is totally boring...

    Whole character is at an angle, as eezacque said pose is super generic and a bit awkward, you have inverse foreshortening (the further away things are bigger somehow) and the anatomy and proportions are pretty off.
    I'd practice perspective, anatomy and proportions.

    I see, thank you very much. To practice perspective should I just draw cubes in perspective or is there a better way?
