    Please be brutal!

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some critique on this environment concept that I did recently. I think it turned out decent, but I would like to improve for the next one I do. What's working, what's not working. Thanks!

Hi Art ByBed. I like your attempts with atmospheric perspective and your value structure. I am wondering about the perspective on your architectural elements though. Your architectural element in the foreground to the right seems to be pointing to a very high horizon line. Your middle ground buildings seem to be pointing to a different horizon line that is lower, but still higher than I'd expect. It give the impression that the buildings are not level and are tilting. Where do you see your horizon line as being?

The symmetry in the trees is very distracting. Try making them more organic, maybe some have some leaves and others are bear, maybe spread them out and very the size, try some different types of trees, just don't copy/paste, lol.

Hey Grumpysaur, thank you so much for the feedback. I definitely struggled with the perspective, trying to correct it as I went. You've helped me to notice a big flaw in the work. I'll definitely pay more attention to my perspective in the future!

    Thanks again!
