    The Day is Bright and Full of Wonders

    Welcome to yet another sketchbook! Warning- I am prone to making bad puns and obscure references. Also Warning- Am very rusty. It's going to be a train wreck, but at least it'll be a lovely, wholesome, train wreck. Feel free to give thoughts and/or advice, or enjoy my eternal torment as I attempt to make progress once again!

    My first entry into the madness, and invariably my mascot:

    I like the rendering. It reads well from the thumb.
    Come say Hi! I could always use a boost.

    That was a catchy introduction followed by some art with interesting brush stroke patterns. I believe I will enjoy watching this train wreck.

    @Dominicque1 - Thankyou! The dimensions looks a bit wonky but I'm glad that the thumbnail is easy to look at. I hoped to make it interesting but not too distracting, if you know what I mean. ^^

    @Grumpysaur - I certainly feel welcome!

    @pilgo - I'm happy to hear it! I'm trying to go for serviceable, stylish, yet sketchy- but most importantly fun, a quality I see your own little corner has in spades. Something we can always use more of, I say. It's one thing to take yourself seriously, to strive to be the very best- that no one ever was- in your journey to stardom, infinity, and beyond... but you gotta enjoy doing the work that you do. Don't you agree?

    Thanks everyone, I'm happy to get to climb the proverbial ladder with each and every one of you. Keep on arting

    Two different periods in time, two ridiculously good looking people, two sketches with wildly different timestamps. Tried to get the essence of both down in the shortest amount of time possible, and although neither really resemble their model counterparts I think it was well worth the effort. Will be sketching fictional characters next time!
