This creature turned out to be more aquatic it seems so I'm not sure how well it'd work as a sound buffer for soldiers in combat but this is how my sketching turned out nonetheless...
Art is not about competing against others and being better than everyone else, but it is about competing against yourself and discovering your greatest potential!

A rough sketch of the 'The Sound absorber'. Where the 'eyes' are located are subwuffers-like constructions, the main body and skin is like sound buffer material. The bottom mouth area is used to stick to difference surfaces.

    Amazing designs as usual, scorge!

Here's my take on this creature. It has excellent hearing and has evolved a very sophisticated emitter muzzle. The muzzle has pores of different sizes through which it blows out elaborate calls at different frequencies to effectively cancel out all sound in its vicinity. This helps it to remain concealed while hunting and to avoid giving away its location and becoming an easy snack for larger predators.

Come say Hi! I could always use a boost.

Hey everyone. I haven't forgotten about updating our weekly thread! It's just been kind of tough now that I have a 7 week old baby. I'll have a new topic up tomorrow!

Bobby Rebholz: Looking forward to the next topic man have you considered doing some type of elemental topic? I know we had the Elemental Dragon forum that was super awesome, but maybe some other type of elemental thing. Could be fun! Or not, lol. Also, congrats again on that baby man, I hope you are indeed getting enough rest cause I know the little ones can be little sleep robbers. Wishing you best with everything sincerely and glad you have the opportunity to experience father hood.
