    Fallen Golem

Size:  498.4 KBThis was definitely one of my more ambitious drawings. I like to draw different monster characters, however i rarely integrate a setting with fore, middle, and background. I am also continuing to try and understand light and shadow.

    You need to choose a light source and stick with it. Currently, you have all infill lighting. When you have the light direction, you can then make form and throw shadows of the trees on him.

    Still life is good way to study how light works on object so why not grab simple object and draw it with pencil, photo is absolutely no no on this, then apply it but first watch these and make some notes:
