    The big thing for me - the skulls all lack depth. Look at the eyes. In your own head your eye sockets don't just go all the way through. Same with the mouth. There isn't an empty whole to the back side.


    Not a fan of the muddy blob in the back middle, but I sort of get it.


    Depending on the "speed" the skulls are moving the forward parts of the color/water/ink could be more pointed to show it being drawn out.

    Are you using reference for skulls? You need to think about form this could help with it http://drawabox.com/
    Don't worry about colors work black and white first as colors are secondary I wouldn't even work with digital as its easier to learn drawing with traditional than its with digital.
    Idea could be developed bit more, is it some kind of ink, water like modi said or what is it, what is its purpose??? How those skulls relate to it and use reference
