Looking for Tips for Beginner Digital Artist

I got my first tablet a few months ago and I'm looking for advice to improve. Anything is appreciated.

Loving it! Great lil self contained comic.

It's a little tough to crit because it's so highly stylized and cartoony, but i think for your first foray into tablet land, it looks great!

Seems as though you like pop style coloring, so it might be a fun exercise for you to try coloring with shapes made with the lasso tool.

Looking forward to giggling at future silly stuff from you!

I'm so confused, is everyone else seeing a wolf eating a pumpkin? It's not a comic, or cartoony, it looks like an attempt at first time semi-realism. I would reference trees and forest floors if you're going to include them, they are dense and you can use the size of objects on the forest floor to add depth and perspective. Perhaps start with simpler scenes. Try to construct light sources instead of just making them random dodge tool smudges. Good start for one of your first pieces though. I agree with the lasso tool advice, once you get the hang of it, you'll use it for anything with an edge.

Damn, google is stepping up his game.

Anyway, your lighting is inconsistent. Start from simpler subjects to paint and study the fundamentals.

Haha, whoa, imgur must work weirdly on a smartphone. It took me to a comic. Sorry about that!
