Post Boss fight scene, how to improve the staging and focus

    Hello everyone

so I'm working on this boss fight piece and this is what I have so far

this is a more developed sketch from my thumbnail

and not a finished thing but I wanna know what I can improve
what I'm struggling with is, I feel like its hard to distinguish that this is on top of a cliff
I also think it looks lacking in terms of focus? I'm not sure how to describe it otherwise
but I dont know if adding a stream of light on some area would work, since its a foggy/toxic environment?

but any critique on what I mentioned or anything else is needed and appreciated.
    thank you

The very bottom one is vastly superior to all others in my opinion. In addition, the last one has far better story and mood to it. It's also a much better composition in general. I want to take you by the shoulders in the most friendly way possible and shake you for not picking that one.

aahh, you should more than shake me by the shoulders
It actually was my choice but then I felt like since its a boss fight it would fit the brief I have more to actually have them facing each other,,, now I'm wondering if I should make sketch of that one and see how it turns haha.. *vibrates*

    thank you for your feedback

My vote is on the very bottom one or the top right hand corner one. Much nicer comps.
