Round #419 In the Walls of the House

    Topic:

#419 In the Walls of the House!

For weeks, you've been hearing strange noises in your home. Convinced you either have squirrels or raccoons in the attic, you hire an exterminator to check out the problem. But, the exterminator doesn't return from the attic one afternoon and you grow increasingly concerned. You thought you heard a muffled cry but convinced yourself it was just part of his extermination gear. Then the sounds travel throughout the walls of the house. You follow these sounds until you hear a loud bang followed by crumbling drywall from inside the guest bedroom. As you approach the door, you open it...

    Hi,
This is my first attempt to do anything on this site, so my apologize if things don't load up correctly or at all. I really wanted to try this creature creation. Unfortunately I think I might have bit of more than I can chew, so to speak. I'm a sketcher so coloring is taking much longer than I expected. I'm not sure I'll be able to finish in time, but thought I might as well post my WIP anyways.

The idea that started this were the hallucinogenic mold spores you find in the walls of old houses. And I thought, "What if they're just the babies of something much bigger?", so the fluffy tentacle root monster was born. It blends in with the treetops when an adult and lays its eggs in old house walls. Usually nobody notices them, but this one was particularly incompetent and extra prolific.

Well, sadly I didn't complete it yet. I'll finish it in my own time and try to be better at time management for any future attempts. This is as far as I got. I'm so slow when it comes to using color. Live and learn.
