What is effective succession/progress of learning drawing?

    Hello folks,

I am currently making a kind of curriculum(a plan if you will) to learn drawing effectively. I doodle the half of my life but am last couple of months really serious about this. Halfway through Scott Robertson's "How to draw" book(ellipses starting to come out alright, straight lines are decent, boxes in 3d environment are improving).

I notice myself more often than not to juggle between multiple subjects and in the end learning a little from it. Like an unguided missile. Do you friends have any tips on how to set up a game changing plan? Following through is not a problem, but making a whole from the vast amount of information is quite intimidating.

    Thank you

Just draw. Draw real things, put them up for critique, take note of the points people make, rinse, repeat.

I'd recommend focusing first on learning whatever you like the most, may that be figure, industrial, environment, whatever.
