How much should I charge for my charcoal portraits?

I'm interested in starting my own portrait drawing business, however I"m unsure about how to price my work. All my portraits are done in charcoal and they are either done on 14" x 17" paper or 18" x 24" paper. I think the price should depend on how many people I'm drawing and the size of the portrait itself (14" x 17" or 18" x 24"), however I'm still unsure about what my price range should start at and go up to.

I've attached some of my portrait drawings. If you could take a look at them and let me know your thoughts regarding pricing them, and what you think they are worth.. it would be much appreciated!!

I suggest you base your price on hourly rate, keeping in mind the legal minimum.
It is easier to start high-ish and drop later, based on customer response, than the other way around.

I agree with Eezacque and would add, make sure you figure in the cost of materials and other overhead, not just the time it takes to complete the image. If you want to make a business out of drawing then you have to treat it like one.
