    If you really want to improve, study the anatomy of real people. Hit the paper and pencils and begin doing studies of real objects around you. Study their forms which are presented to us through light and shadow.

    You're trying to do realistic shadows but then he has stickers for eyes.

    I'd recommend proko.com and Andrew Loomis for figure drawing, as well as life studies. Also, try not to cut characters off at the feet! It looks like you're avoiding them on purpose.

    Practice the basics of the human face and body, learn how to make the characters look less stiff....

    I would recommend to getting simple object and do still life from life using one light with pencil

    About anatomy I recommend proko and Loomis for this as well also you need to combine those with life drawing. Check out azaro heads for facial planes and how light affects to it
