Where do you publish comic art online?

    Hi all,

I'm Christopher and I'm new and I wanted to introduce myself properly

I have a question for those of you who create comics and art.... where do you self-publish digitally? What makes you choose those places?

In full transparency, I ask because for the past few years I've been working on building a comics publishing platform in my spare time and I'm looking to create the best service I can for folks who are much more artistically gifted than myself

I'm looking forward to your answers!

    Best,

    Chris

I think the better question is what do you plan to do to distinguish yourself from all the other digital publishing platforms? We’re totally inundated with online art platforms.

Well, a few things, but it all boils down to this: focus on creating the best possible experience for both creators and readers

    Here's our platform: https://globalcomix.com

    And here's our FAQ: https://globalcomix.com/support/faq

    What do you think?

    Best,

    Chris

Why would anyone use your platform when you take a 35% cut per page when people can just use deviantart, art station, behance, etc to promote their own works for free and control their own prices? Even Amazon offers up to 70% royalty on self publishing.

Hells bells.. a part of a weekend, a bit of cheap hosting, and a few themes you can be setup with wordpress in no time.

    Examples:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/webcomic/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/comic-easel/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/mangapress/

Oh.. paid membership? yeah wordpress can do that too.
    Examples:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/paid-m...subscriptions/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/
My commentary is a gift to you.

    I publish on Tapas: https://tapas.io/series/sushy
because they offer ways to make money off your comic. It might be a small amount, but it motivates me to create more.
