flora et fauna experimentalis ( update November 9th )

    hi

This is a personal project i have constructed to help me draw animals/creatures better while still having a function and life that should be able to exist in real life...

a friend of mine writes a really short explanation of the animal (Task)

and i come to an idea that i call Result and info
Result is my primary vision, and the info is stuff i imagine during the sketch process...

i wont post sketches here, like i do in my DSB...

only "finnished" animals..reason is that i want as much feeback(critque) as possible...

bloody nice, i like that maicanis durae cuto looks like a new design of onos (natural selection monster) be sweet if it really did look like that

my crit would be the the conformation of the sanctum paral dualis which its hind legs seem to stretch too far out its rear end and bed the same way as the forelegs , the bend is higher than the elbows of the forelegs which when you think about it would give it a bit of trouble to move in my opinion.

    the rest are brilliant

Those are some sick designs! The color work on the "Nebula Serpens" is sweet!! The only thing I saw was that the Diopotis could use some more color variations. Possibly on the fins, back,or tenticles? Anyways, youre color stuff is amazing as usual.

I really really like these. Especially the last one. It looks all cute and slothlike, until you find out it's a carnivore that eats it's prey alive. Also really like the Maicanis Durai Cuto. Very original design. All in all, I'd say these are great!

Cool stuff. Everything looks well thought out. The only thing that bugs me a little are the feet (paws?) of the Sanctum Paral Dualis. They don't seem to go with the design of the rest of the creature, or maybe they just are developed enough.
BTW, have you seen any of Michel Gagne's books. He does similar stuff. I really like his Insanely Twisted Rabbits book.
