    EOW #309: Mud Wrestler's Washroom - VOTING

    EOW #309: Mud Wrestler's Washroom - VOTING

    EOW #309: Mud Wrestler's Washroom
This interior room is slick with dirt and mud from the wrestlers who bathe and cleanse themselves from daily competition. It's mucky and sometimes the drains get clogged up. You definitely want to be wearing your flip flops here.

    Requirements:
-The mud wrestler's washroom can be as small or big as you want it to be - no limits on structure or square feet.
-Think about how a mud wrestler (male or female, let's not discriminate) is perceived during the time period being conveyed and how this influences the design, functionality, and appearance of this hygienic chamber.
    -
    Mud wrestler included is optional.

    Deadline for entries: January 25
    , 2018.

    Good luck, mudbloods!

I think I'm going to go with 1 or 6 and I'll add all the mud and dirt in the rendering phase.

I went with an older time period with japanese influences. I like number 2 best because it's conveys that these mud wrestlers are highly appreciated and they have servants.

I think I am just about finished with this one. I still have plenty of time to try something completely different. Critiques and comments in general would be highly appreciated!

Anton - So cool! Great details. I wonder if you could be clearer about where the main source of light is coming from - the ceiling? The hanging lanterns? The scene itself looks totally realistic. I especially enjoy the photographic quality of people walking to and fro, from the bathroom attendants to the bathers coming in from another chamber.

Okay this is my final piece. I did dome adjustments in terms of lighting and perspective.

My first and final entry, the ritual cleansing chambers of the Mud-Wrestling Monks. I spent most of the night pushing this to an acceptable state, and just realised that I forgot the mud! Oh well, I guess we could say they've already been cleaned or something cheap like that hahaName: finishedpiece.jpg

    Hi Belendor

Was your image final? I didn't put it in the poll because I wasn't sure.

Upon reflection, to be fair, Zak Coughlan's entry was on the same level of completeness as yours was, so I should've taken yours to poll too. I'll try to be mindful of this in the future, thanks for being cool about it.
