    Did three 20 minute photo studies along with two simple skeleton practices. Time really passes by when you're not getting distracted. Looked at the photo studies in the mirror and they all look normal to me. There's a lot of little things in each sketch that's off. I got a little quicker each time, but I need to work on my sketchy lines.

    This Monday I'll be moving on to the muscles, even though I half assed the bone structures.

    Ribcages looks so much better now, really glad to see it was useful. The proportions are now correct and I like the fact you're still drawing them together with the pelvis becausde that is working nicely. Great amount of work and dedication, keep it going! Faces are looking good too. If you want to push them further you can start dividing it up into more planes, right now you're doing it with making the side of the head a very clear plane but you could also do that with for instance the shapes of the nose, eyes, forehead etc. The more shapes the better you will be at lighting it from different directions when it comes to that.

    Looked at the anatomy playlist and found out that I needed to learn how to draw the parts of the shoulder, so I took some notes on it to get it out of the way for Monday. While taking the notes I realized that I was probably making the top of the ribs too big the whole time, but that's fine as long as I know know now. Also did three 20 minute photo studies, the second one only took 17 minutes. I'm going to bump down the time to 17 and see how I do. Couldn't really get the much of the shapes in for the front views because I kept on getting the proportions wrong, but I still got the proportions right at the end.

    Had a lot of work to do today, so I decided to take it easy and do the notes on how to the the clavicle and scapula and I kept spelling it as clavicle as 'clavical' rip. Also I could have a job this Summer doing caricatures at an amusement part, but I'll most likely decide on getting that job next year since I'll be able to drive by then. If I decide that I'm getting the job this year it will help me with speed, line quality, some color theory, and marketing myself for the future.

    I'm going to focus on improving my observational skills first and bring down my time to 12ish minutes. After that I'll be working on shading :>

    I'll admit that I was procrastinating during the time I was suppose to practice. Took a nap, woke up late, did homework, then I decided I was going to stay up late to practice, but that didn't happen lol. I can tell this is probably going to take a long time like the ribs did, so I'm also going to cut my free draw weekends so I can 'get stuff done'.

    Also, I did some quickposes at school today, for the first one I got the head angle wrong, head is too thin and didn't catch it until later. The second I couldn't figure out why the guy was looking sad instead of serious, so I spent time trying to fix that.

    Oh and if anything looks messed up in the shoulder bones practice, please tell. This Thursday night is the night of that field trip I was talking about around 2 weeks ago and I'm planning to do an all nighter that night so I can finish the practices.

    Did more than yesterday at least and i partially fixed by procrastination problem. I didn't allow myself to go on my phone, leave the room, or open any new tabs with music being an exception, but after I finish sketching the ribs, which only takes only 40 seconds now , I just sit there and wander inside my room : ^). Maybe after each one I'll take a small 3 minute break, but I don't know if that 3 minutes will become 20. Tomorrow I'm going to try to redo the two I did today at school and do at least 5 of the shoulder practices since I'm staying up all night. Also, making a critique post to get feedback and see if I'm doing this right.

    Finished Proko's assignments today and I'm going to do practices in a bigger sketchbook now and do quickposes in the older and smaller one, which only had about 6 pages left, so I'm basically done with my first daily practice notebook :>>>. Going on that trip tomorrow, so I'm just going to use that day as a break day.

    Didn't do a lot, but the trip was fun :>. Sketched some paintings and sculptures while I was at a museum. The portrait sketch was rushed, but I had a bit of time to do the other two sketches. I feel like I'm getting into a bad habit of making the ribs too long.

    Finished the assignment that was assigned yesterday by Proko. The chest is pretty easy, I think I got it right for the most part. Also, wanted to save ink and paper, so for the rest I used MS-paint. Right now I'm saving for a Cintiq, so maybe in one to two years I'll start drawing digitally.

    Did some more notes and found out I sucked at this lmao. Even though I suck, I kinda find my sketchy sketches pretty funny. Not going to post reference images, since that will be me spending more time on saving images. I gave myself 60 seconds instead of the regular 30 on the first page, then on the second page gave myself 90 seconds. Tomorrow I'm going to try to do it at 120 seconds and see if I can finish on accurately in that time.

    I've been slacking for a month and a half, but I'm going to start getting in routine again. Today I finished my school art homework (photo study) for this month and I took progress photos that I posted on Insta. While I wasn't really practicing I was doing a lot of face quickposes when I was at school being bored. I went from 20 minutes sketches to around 12 minute sketches. Tomorrow I'm gonna a step or two back from where I was and start back from there :>

    I didn't want to draw the shadow of the leaves, so I didn't lol and I improvised with the back round. The hair is also too long, but I still looks fine to me. I would say I was very lazy with this study, probably because a wasn't that motivated to be meticulous.

    Couldn't practice yesterday since I had to stay up late to finish up projects < /3. I'm a little ahead from where I left off about a month ago. I would say practicing more gestures would be beneficial to this assignment.

    Lost my phone yesterday so I couldn't upload pictures yesterday < /3. I went on a field trip to Washington DC and went to three museums and drew some poses of sculptures and paintings. Just gotta say that the first one I went to was trash; it was filled with left wing propaganda. One of the pieces was just a pile of damn clothes and another was a projected video of a building being bombed.

    One of my friend's birthday is coming up, so I have to make a present for them. I sketched the outside of my school and I really like drawing the building. I wanted to draw some things in my house, but I gotta work on the present first < / 3. The anime guy's name is Caramia from Ozmafia. I'm going to do the same as the last present, going to make it look as real as possible and front view. The face in the sketch is uneven, but I'll fix it tomorrow.

    I don't rally know how to feel about this. It's my first time drawing a feminine guy, but I want him to at least look a little more like a guy and still want him to be in character. I made the eyes a little sharper and closed the mouth and before I did those he just looked like a normal girl.

    Did more poses today. Going to try to do more. I started to watch something when I practice and I think that's going to start holding me back if it becomes a habit.

    Thanks for the video, I watched it before I started my daily stuff. I'll start practicing using Proko's method; it's going to take a long time to get used to, since I've always been using scratchy lines.

    I didn't want to do much today because I'm lazy. I practiced that confident line technique and did some good quickposes at school and like always it's scratchy.

    Couldn't upload yesterday, I overslept then had to do homework lol. Practice confident lines again and did three quickposes. I sketched with graphite then went over with charcoal. I don't think I know what I'm doing when I draw male anatomy, so before I draw males I need to learn the muscles first. On the other hand, women's anatomy is easier for me because there isn't as much muscle mass.
