    Smile Blending with hard brush

    I try to blending my painting with hard brush, but I feel it look weird, I'm using hard brush, what is the basic technique of blending with hard brush? I just be able to blending 2 circles, but not to my painting, please help me

    The penultimate brush here is really good for that. You may try to use it.

    From what I saw on Youtube,
    some artist color pick the edge where two color meet and paint over it.

    You can check some time lapse drawing on youtube

    Edges are all about relationships to each other, tools dont really matter, can you do this with pencil??

    What if there's no technique to blend with a hard brush? What are you going to do then? Not blend?

    gui-m's suggestion is pretty much the basic technique.

    I and many other digital artists set the smudge brush to 2%, with a large round brush (60 px or higher depending on what your GPU/CPU can handle)

    Rub it all over the image.

    BTW, this is traditionally referred to as "Scumbling"
