Drawings of Dragons - various sketches

I just wanted to share a few sketches from my latest project: Drawings of Dragons.
All a mixture of traditional and digital media (ballpoint pen and Autodesk Sketchbook).
If anyone is interested, you can find out more here: http://kck.st/2i42Zur

    Thanks for looking :-)

They look like speculative anurognathids. I like 'em a lot.

But to be frank, if these are digital images (and even if they're not) just show them. It's not the first time I've seen images superimposed on a photo of a sketchpad, with a carefully-posed pen nearby, but it still annoys me just as much. Let the art speak for itself - it's good enough.
    ...which is only my opinion.

Super creative! I agree with Vermis, you're better off just showing these unique sketches on their own than distracting us with a pen around it!

Thanks for the responses - and apologies for the late reply!
To answer Fujii's question, these were done using a combination of hand-drawn sketches, Artrage, Sketchbook and Photoshop.
I totally understand the comments about the pen/sketchpad presentation. These images were produced for a more general audience, and the slightly cliched style worked well for that purpose. But I do agree that for this forum, the raw images would be better. I've just posted some more work in a new thread, without the sketchpad treatment :-)

The dragons are so cute! I really like how the pen work is light enough that it doesn't detract from the main coloring of the dragon while still adding character.

These look quite well done. Always liked dragons.

Is it possible you could make process pictures? I want see the sketches, to lineart, to coloring, etc.

I love these! The pen is unnecessary but I love seeing the notebook. There's something about it, for me at least, that adds a very human touch to the work.
