welcome to the sketchbook section. the way to improve is to do more studies like the still lifes you have done. pay close attention to what you are doing, go slowly and train your eye. pick up some anatomy books and copy the drawings, slowly, carefully. Then draw from imagination and life in equal amounts. Bam, you'll be a master in no time (10 years).
edit: also, don't expect to get alot of comments right off the bat. mostly only the forum pros get alot of comments on thier work. but if you keep with it, and post stuff every day or every other, or whatever, and work hard....people will respect your dedication to learn and work, and help you out and acknowledge your efforts. you've got to go 100 miles with the pencil on your own first.
