    Joseph's Book of Sketch

I've been on this forum for forever now and I never made a sketchbook, mostly because I already have one that I update on Sycra.net. But I figure why not post one here as well. So here's a few recent pencil sketches I've done. I mostly do fine art, but I do a lot of digital painting as well.

Cool first month for your sketchbook! Keep pushing those values and try to make longer poses if you can. The digital work look great, would love more of that.

Size: 154.7 KB another small sketch of an interior. I started with Prussian blue and white just for the fun of it and figured out my value massing. I think the lampshade got too light. It looked a lot different in dimmer light though.

Thanks! I did an underpainting in red, and thought it would be cool to let it show through a bit. When I finished it I removed some more of the red around the edges.

Neat. Without it, the piece would certainly be far less interesting.

These were color excercises so the drawing is a little ehhhhh but I think I've made quite a bit of progress color wise. The small ones were 10-15 minutes, larger ones 30-1hr

Beautiful work! Great sense of values and color! If I'd comment on something I'd say maybe focus on sharpening those edges a bit to make it pop some more. Anyway looking forward to seeing more
