Sketch. Mixed a mole and a snake to see what came out. Gonna add more demon-y stuff to it.

BobbyRebholz: Nice topic Bobby and great job keeping up with the forum!

InkBookerDrawDraw: Very cool, the head kinda reminds me of when I start blowing air into my latex tattoo gloves; like cow teats or something...truly terrifying.

    Amazing stuff so far!

Working on some silhouette / thumbnails. I felt #1 was way too close to the Bobbit worm reference I was looking at so that's out. Kind of liking #3. Imagining that the long sharp bone springs out of the mouth wicked fast to pierce its prey, then slowly retracts.

@Dalrek - I can see why you would use the Bobbit Worm because it literally looks like it's from Hell! ha!

@Bobby - Totally! The way they catch prey is one of the most terrifying things I've ever seen.

I did bring some of its elements back into my design. Still playing around though so not settled on it yet. Went to the bug exhibit at my local zoo to get some additional references which I may or may not incorporate.

I sat down and hammered this out all at once. I had so many ideas and things I would like to do, just the time is limited. I hate adulting...grrrr. Can someone win the lotto so we can just all sit back and paint all day?

: Looking good man, I see you are doing the form thing and your creature is looking very 3D. Looking forward to your progress as always.

: The Bobbit worm is truly terrifying. Great choice on reference no doubt. Looking forward to your progress as well.
