Sebastian's Sketchbook: anatomy and figure drawings

Hi all, I recently started drawing again after few years of hiatus (took some classes in high school). I would like to improve my anatomy and figure drawing skills.
Advices/critiques welcome (please also point me to any great learning resources). Thanks in advance!

Great figure drawing showing good understanding of anatomy and the figure overall. I absolutely love pieces on the toned paper with white highlights on them, it just looks so bloody good. May I ask where you get the toned paper from, I have searched the internet and have only found 2 on Amazon for toned sepia-ish and grey paper but they don't ship to Europe. Awesome start to your sketchbook and I hope you update it for a long time to come!

Thanks, I found it is very easy to create depth using this kind of paper. I'm using Strathmore Toned Tan series 400, you can buy it from ebay.

cool sketchbook!! I like how alive Marseille's eyes look. was wondering are you using copic-markers or watercolours to shade your figures?

thanks a lot! I really like your sketches, I've been trying to emulate them by shading mine, but I still have a long way to go.

some more sketches and churches. I realised the perspectives are off, I got carried away in the details. Will do some photo studies next.

I decided to switch from ballpoint to pencil, but it still doesn't feel right... what are everyone's preferences?

great stuff here one tip when you "cut" or leave off arm or leg dont do it on joint because it gives amputee feel to it, take a look at old scultures for this idea

Such beautiful renderings on your figures. I really like those cathedral drawings too, especially the one where you made the sky red. Thanks for answering my question before about the paper. Your work is looking awesome!

It's been a while since I posted, good thing I haven't stopped drawing.
Here are my first time inktober sketches, I tried to focus on landscape this year, drawing one image per day is more challenging than I expected!
    More figure studies to come.

Some more finished works. I started using Croquis cafe in December, it's been quite useful so far. What's the consensus on Proko? I'd been doing some of his hand bone exercises, do people find them to be fruitful?
