    Creating visual interest.

So this thing that I drawn, it looks like a wizard showed up and cast a 'make boring' spell on it. Cos as much as I try I just can't push this hard enough make it interesting or appealing. Appreciate any help I can get.

First off the colors are.. well.. boring. Nothing is conveyed with what the character is doing, who they are, etc. You have a well made set, but now you can decorate it.. walls have texture and things on them, tables have plates/condiments/etc on them.. windows are not always clean.. the outside can be interesting.. the character can cast a shadow if that strong of light is coming in from the window.. etc.
My commentary is a gift to you.

The face of the girl is saying: 'I'm bored'. Inevitably your paint will convey this emotion to you and to the audience-if you don't give a strong justification of her expression.
Which is the story behind? Why the girl is looking bored at the camera and not, for example at the window (where seems something is happening)?
What is happening outside? Is she in a kind of restaurant/ bar? Is waiting someone? The coffee?
