I'm new around and I'm a Portuguese student. I like draw and art in general, and one of my biggest dreams is to be a professional concept-artist. I have projects in mind which I would love to make them real games, however I confess I don't have very much experience on the digital painting and that is very important. Not to mention I need help on my portfolio as well.
I have a question. Because I've came from a design background I think a concept-artist is more for entertainment; in comparison to a designer which is for more functional. Am I correct? If not, insight me please. I really am interested in study on a university for concept-art/illustration and I would love to make part of a group of artists that could help me.
Please any assistance and help is welcome, since I'm really interested to go through this artistic path.

Pretty well all art overlaps in some ways. Bringing design into concept art is not a bad thing depending on how it's used.
Currently doing the Level Up course, so my SB is going to be lonely
