    Kagg's 3d progressive sketchbook

    Hey'a!

So, I know I am kinda out of place here...but one of the things I love about the sketchbooks at conceptart is how you can see people progressively better as you look through their pages. That is something that I would prefer to a static devient art page or such...

    Anyway, !

    2d Dump

These are some sketches I've done over the past two weeks...They, aren't great. I know that at my level I shouldn't be trying to color at all!
I wanted a nice reference point to look back on for my 2d as well...I want to get better at that as well!

    OK!

It doesn't look like much now, but I really look forward to looking back on these and seeing my progress.

I wanted to make sure I understood the 3dsmax>>Photoshop>>UE4 workflow, so the brown pillar is my first model to go through all three programs and end up and something "useable" in ue4. I know it isn't much to look at but I'm pretty proud of it.
The other one I'm a little less proud of but at least I'm learning how to handle some of the functions in UE4...I know it isn't super imaginative, but at least its a start.

    3.25.2017 - art dump.

I got board and made a floating "tick robot" on my phone, and I tried to explore that a little more in photoshop...There are a lot of copy/paste tools that I need to take advantage of in the future to make sure I have the symmetry down but I just didn't want to force it this time.

I also got mudbox! The model isn't that great, but its my second attmept at making something, and really made me realize I don't seem to understand how lips work.

Looking forward to doing more in the future, and I really wanna play around with cyberpunk themes.

Windows computer went down, so I'm resorting to 2d on my Mac.

Nothing spectacular. If anything it reveals just how poor my understanding of forms are, but I'll look forward to looking back on this one one day...

Wanted to follow up on the last group of sketches...I wanted to do do multiple ones without stressing too much on each one so I could just keep moving forward. None of it really looks all that great to me, but I think I've learned a thing or two since my first round of sketches.
Turns out I burnt out my graphics card...soooooo,

    Slow day at work.

Computer fixed! In the meantime...slow day at work and not much to do during my lunch break.
