    cover illustrations and .mac test

    hello,
I'm testing to see if image attachment works using.mac.

The images, if they show up, are wrap around covers for a 6 part paperback series "lemuria" to be published by heyne/randomhouse germany.

All Pics are done using psd, ptr, formZ...

all artwork oliver scholl, let me know what you think

I really like the one with the sphere and lightning bolts (the one of the bottom) and the peice right above that. I think the top one has a lot of empty space that could just be cropped off at the top. Other than that, I think these are some really nice illustrations.

    Great work,
    Greg

    thanks GK,

all images have about 1.5 cm bleed, more on the top so they can be moved around depending on the final typo. As they were done before a type layout, this seemed the safe way.

    Holy crap!
How is it possible that you haven't received more feedback from adoring fans willing to sacrifice their meaningless and unworthy lives to serve you?!
    Kudos.

Wow, I love nr4. I think for some of the images, there is too much empty space that dulls everything else.

Very nice stuff ... It has a kind of Perry Rhodan feeling to it - can it be that Heyne is publishing some of this stuff?

The compositional problems people see are inmy opinion not existent - I can see the covers working with the Headline and the wrap around.

what I like most is the consitency in style making every book on the one hand unique but on the other hand coherent.

Fine work and I hope to see more stuff from you.

Yeah, the spaceship designs looked quite "rhodanesque" . Didnt know that Heyne is publishing them - but Ive read my last ones in the beginning of the 80s ...
