    I really like the way you apply your paint it feels like oil paints, and some of these pieces are stunning in the way you have handled light. Keep doing what your doing, the studies must help and I'm sure one day everything falls into place when it comes to rendering from the imagination.

    About environmental references, try Wikimedia Commons. A lot of the good ones are Creative Commons Attribution licensed, but you can find public domain ones as well.

    artorney - Thanks, I'll check it out, I also found MapCrunch wich also works well for that purpose if someone else's interested, tho it can sometimes take a while to get an interesting shot.
