What do you think?
In the second and third pics I experimented with lighting. The first pic is taken with a traditional film camera and the other two are digital.
Neither camera is of a very high quality, unfortunately, but I like how they came out. . .
"A Time To Be So Small"
You can tell when a photograph is taken with film, or digitally, can't you? I prefer the film look, of course.
Digital pictures are taken in a RGB colour format - i've heard - which is much closer to what our eyes percieve in real life. Film cameras don't capture the light as straight-forwardly as digital cameras... This discrepancy is what gives film its character and warmth, I think. Film gives a more artistic looking result. It resembles a more CMYK colour mode.
Ramble ramble ramble.

I really think the first one (the black and white) is cool. The person is really dark which I like. The lighting on the next two is really yellow and a little bit of a overload but I still really like the third one. Good job!
I think the first one is very nice. The darkness of it brings out a very cool mood...the second one, the trumpet seems to blend right into the background. Too bright, like it's been said. Other then that, liked what you got. Keep postin!
The first snail photograph is very nice. Simple and a good study of shape. In the second picture the purple leaves are competing with the snail and tend to draw the eye away from the main focus.
Guns don't shoot people. Cameras shoot people. And sometimes landscapes and other things.
Thanks, thanks for your response!Originally Posted by Tightrope Pope
I see what you mean about the leaves competing. I think the focus is quite clear though - centred; contrasted colour; focused. I really wanted to include the leaves.. I like the colour of them.
love the black and white...i really like the second one....its very loud...love the snail hanging on for dear life....
I am not completely insane, some parts are still missing...
