Well done with the ork head!

The form deconstruction sounds like a great exercise. I don't think you need me to tell you this but make sure to keep things very simple at this stage, I think you have the right idea with simple forms like the lamp. I like that you're drawing through those objects too!

Nice updates, are you still working on the How to Draw book, you were doing some great excercises and that book will help you a ton. Your perspective still needs work. I'd also recommend a book called Framed Ink to learn a bit about composition, you seem to just put in the element of the piece on the page without thinking about where they should be placed or what should overlap to create an interesting dynamic within a piece. Your values have improved a lot. I hope to see some more How to Draw exercises too!

Thanks a lot brother! I am sticking to the fundamentals, perspective, values, simple forms, i think this simple forms will help me a lot, in the construction, and the painting in the near future, is my first ones with this approach, i hope to see improvement in the next week, thanks again for taking time to pass by, you are awesome!

Thanks mate! The first exercises were made from How to Draw, this last ones i got a little lazy with this steps, just to get my mind putting the pieces and simple forms together, i think i should take more care and do some guide lines, so it doesn't get so messed up, i'll add this week, hope to do a ton of this bad boys. Amazing ideia with the Framed Ink, i heard of it a lot of times, since i'm practicing a little of everything, somethings were left for latter, like composition, but you are correct, it's good to have a fundamental ideia on dealing with it, i hope to start adding this part to my studies.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me, it really helps in my early noob stages, be very welcome.

I've started to put some shadowing in the basic forms, still a long way to go in this ones, working the way up in the construction with basic shapes
