    Lightbulb Burton Silverman

You guys may be interested in him if you haven't yet heard of him.

It's sad that these images do NO justice to his work. His brush strokes are so Fresh and Atmospheric and his colour is really great.

If you run across his book, pick it up! It is great inspiration and a great document to learn from.

    -Joshua James

::once again these imags do not really do him justice / also he has some other great compositions but, I couldn't find those jpegs::

definitely a great artist, I was lucky enough to hear him talk at my school about 5 years ago, but I had a class and couldn't stay for his water color portrait demo! Definitely missed out, definitely </rainman>

Thanks for putting up some of his oil paintings, that first one is new to me.

I was fortunate enuff to have mr silverman over to my home during my days of art school. I got kicked in the ass by his critiques of all the art I had done which was hanging on the walls. I even had one of his paintings hanging in my living room for a while. He is a wonderful painter. His paint quality is as josh said...yum.

    his sketchbooks are awesome too....
