Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
Tim Horton's are usually open 24 hours, aren't they?
I'm not sure how much past 10 I'd be able to stay out, though. I've got work tomorrow morning.
Now we just need a location.
None of you know me. I saw this post while I was looking at the forums last night. I would very much like to join you for tonight's sketch night. I am from Chicago, and happen to be in Toronto for business, and my hotel isn't too far from there.
If there are no objections, I'll stop by at the very least get a cup of coffee.

It was very nice meeting the both of you. I haven't sketched something fun in quite awhile, made me realize how much I missed it.
I'm in Toronto about once a month, I'll definitely try to make it again the nex time I'm in town.

Are we up for today?
I'm up for today, and I have a friend in tow.
Would you guys be willing to meet somewhere closer to the subway, though? There's a really nice starbucks at Yonge + Bloor, but is that too far out of the way? We could also meet up at the Eaton Centre and hang out there - we'd have lots of people to draw and wouldn't have to worry about ordering coffee, and it's walking distance from OCAD for those that don't want to take the subway.
Either or is fine by me. There looks to be plenty of parking in the area.
bitjockey - yeah, if we go to the one at Yonge + Bloor, you can even come park behind my dad's house. It's just a couple blocks walk, but it would mean you would get free parking. Otherwise Eaton's centre is fine too, just a little more money to park, but might be easier for other people to reach.
Do you know if anyone else is coming?
No idea. I'll go poke Amaranth.
Okay, I have to head out soon, so are we going to Starbucks or the Eaton Centre?
I couldn't post in time because I was out for a bit and I couldn't confirm my status until now.
Unfortunately, I cannot come today because I have a family Chinese New Year dinner in a bit (yes, I know it's past CNY but family likes to have huge meals for this week). I know it's a tad late to post and I apologize for that.
I'm free for tomorrow.
My schedule has been very erratic lately and heading off to Eaton's Centre is quite a trip for me. I have no reason to try to change the location or time either since it looks to be convenient for others (and it is a great place to sketch people I'll admit). I already feel bad for changing the times once or twice but there's just too many things, including my Sheridan animation portfolio (which I'm working off my ass for since everybody, including Bobby Chiu, said it was hard to get in for), to deal with.
Until my portfolio review is done and my schedule calms down, I will not be able to make sketch meetings unfortunately.
Aw, that's a shame. i can totally understand though. God knows I've been busy! bitjockey, if it's just the two of us and you don't feel like it's worth coming all the way into the city for, no worries. I've been trying to drum up interest but it's a slow process.
edit: never mind! managed to talk my animation buddy brent into coming, so there will be at least three of us this week, if you're still interested.

Yep, I'm still good for this week. I've got a piece I'm working on that I could use your opinion on, anyway.
Amaranth: Sorry to hear you can't make it, but I understand completely. Best of luck with the portfolio!
Okay guys! Bitjockey and I have cancelled next tuesday, to instead push it back to SUNDAY, FEBRUARY THE 15TH, so we can go to the ROM to draw instead!
As it's only open until 5:30, I'm thinking somewhere around noon would be best?
Who's up for it? I have a couple friends who want to come, so hopefully we can pull a bigger group together.
Noon sounds good to me!
Hey guys, me and my my friend both live in the Barrie area and have been looking for a sketch group, i can't make it this week, and i don't think he can either, but definitely the sat or sun (21st or 22nd), I'll check this forum regularly for times.
