These last two are my favourites so far. I like that you can tell a lot about the history of the environment from them. And the colours are great.

The riverbed one has a horizontal line on the left side, at around the horizon. You don't notice it right away but once you do it gets distracting.

    Big improvements! Keep it up!

Some really nice stuff in here, maybe in your environnement you could try to plan it a little bit more.
Like having a big foreground element, or an element in the foregroud repeting and getting smaller in the background, and very important, having high contrast in foreground and low contrast in background. Because colors are nice, but you really should pay more attention to value, would bring lot more life into your drawings.
example : in the last one, you use the trick on only 2 planes. One higher contrast than the other, but nothing makes the spectator enter the scene,
the highest mount are quite on the same line, which is too even to be beautiful, so we have like two flat planes, but not an environnement really...
And in the environnement before, you got the foreground element, but dont have the contrast change ! like you got all you need, but not all in each picture

And a little question, what is Dougbot technique ? your painted monters are aweseome, reallt nice...

I hope i could help, i replied cause i see you were going to prague, so do i, i hope
really only wanted to help, ya got nice stuff in here

    bye

oh my GOD I love your colors. Minor crit on the one with the marshy-streamy thing.... the outlines on your rocks are a bit dark, makes 'em pop out a lot.

    yay another one
too bad the figures suck so much but yea. i kinda got really tired of it. And there prolly still isnt enough contrast or depth but yea

ryu: thanks yea i tried to get a lil more depth in this one, and your dead on with your crits, thanks alot. about prague im not sure im going :/ sorry. but yea thanks alot. Dougbots technique btw, was just the octopus one, and it was using the vine charcoal and and gouache brush in painter, the gouache brush to do the line work, it worked cool but i have a better handel on things in photoshop, which is all the more recent stuff

panda: thanks and yeap your right the shadows should be way more intense in the foreground, lets see if im better off with this one

0kelvin: thanks mate true about that, thnx for the crit.

    Faust: haha thanks

    carnifex: ^___^ thanks too

yeah, better, now careful with composition, and color composition.

for example, tree almost touch top of pic, disturbing, and the path that leads the eye at the beginning of the pic, seems to go nowhere, little disturbing to read the pic quietly.... but honestly, it s already much better, in the bottom righ corner, i can feel the air between the two rocks,
    really nice,

    cya man

looking good, but you need to watch out with the perspective. those stairs look flat as hell and seem to lead nowhere.

carnifex, i tried to have the stair spiral down around that rock, but it obviousley didnt seem to have worked that well. :/ onto the next one! *point*

anyway willow-whisp, told me to challenge myself and do a relativly flat landscape, at night. So i did. And i dont like it but yesh. its monochromatic and lacks depth with a poor sky and composition (that description is ęSteph Laberis 2005 ), but i figured ide post it up anyway

Hah, way to follow through, even though you thought it was teh suck

You heard my crit (seems like you paraphrased it in your description...!) but I will add this... when you think you are done with one of these, send it into grayscale and squint at it. See where your eye is drawn and where the weight of your values are. This one, maybe, has more issues with value more than it does with color.

    Maybe.

I think that might be my favourite one yet! It has some value issues, but I'm really liking the mood and the feel of the landscape. The tiny hotspots of colour really draw the eye nicely.
