COW #369: RNG Creature - Finals
    Name: COW 300 banner.jpg
Views: 3968
Size: 201.0 KB
    Deadline:
Sunday June 26, 11:59:59 PM EST (GMT -4)

Post your final image and description here! No WIPs or placeholders allowed!!! I will delete them. Use the proper thread for this purpose.

Only 1 post per artist is allowed! If necessary you may add questions in your post, if you need some last minute help, but you ideally want to use the WIPS Thread for this.

Once the deadline has passed I will close the thread for submission. Once this occurs I will then judge all submitted entries in this thread. Entries which break one or more rules will then be rejected from the poll.

I would also ask that you DO NOT edit your entry after the deadline has passed. You will be disqualified from the poll, if the edit is minor such as fixing a typo, please message me first for permission. You can edit your entry as many times as you want before the deadline or after the poll has closed.

Copy and paste the following lines and add your own content. Delete all * before posting. You can use the attachment function for the image as well. I will delete all replies, which are not posted this way.

USE THE ATTACHMENT MANAGER (post reply > go advanced > attachment manager - and use the paperclip icon to embed the image)! This way no images get lost over time.

    Artist: acrow

    Concept: Dune Stalker

    RNG items:
    -Fur, Scales
    -Desert
    -Omnivore
    -Taste, Hearing
    -Large
    -Patches
    -Orange, White

    Creature description:
"The dune stalker is a large and voracious creature that lives in the farthest reaches of the desert. Its large ears help it to quickly locate sources of food, and there is not much that can escape a dune stalker's notice when one is on the prowl. Its adaptations to its desert environment are numerous- it has a tail that stores fat so that it can survive long stretches without food, and the light scales on its back reflect the harsh sun and keep it from overheating. It also has a mouth that is host to a myriad of bacteria, which nearly guarantees that a bite will wind up being fatal. The dune stalker isn't just confined to eating other animals- it will also forage for succulents and seeds if no other sources of nutrients are available. All in all, it is well adapted to its environment and not at all nice to run into."

(PS- I'm sorry, I just realized the deadline was EST, so I guess I'm a bit late. Whoops. I hope it's still okay that I submitted this here though.)

    It's fine...

I'm hoping to get some more entries before closing this round, but it's unfortunate that activity on this forum's dropped off so much...

    Artist: fabianguiza

    Concept: blue tongue devil

Devils use extremely sensitive organs located in specialized scales to detect tiny variations in air pressure and thereby determine the location of a field about to be consume by a lava flow. As they approach the scorched area, they use their distinctive giant forked tongues to locate their meal: any creature unfortunate enough to have been consumed in the fire.

    Habitat: Volcano
    Diet: Omnivore
    Senses: Taste, Touch
